Organization & Governance

While the Site is the primary environment for collaboration, the Organization is the legal, financial, and administrative structure. It acts as the root tenant within the multi-tenant architecture that owns data assets, manages commercial contracts, and contains software licenses.

Multi-Tenant Security Constraints

The platform maintains strict architectural boundaries to secure corporate data while allowing user mobility across organizations:

  • Exclusive Superuser Assignment: An individual account can be the active Superuser (Owner) of exactly one Organization. Correspondingly, an Organization can only have one root Superuser.
  • Global Mobility: While an account can only own one Organization, user identities are global. A single user can be invited as a Member or Guest into an unlimited number of external, completely independent Organizations.
  • Ownership Transfer for Mergers and Acquisitions: Organization ownership can be securely transferred to support corporate restructuring. To prevent unauthorized account takeovers, ownership transfers require strict offline corporate documentation verification.
